Brighton vs Tottenham

It is rarely foolproof to rely on historic head-to-heads but the last five meetings between Brighton and Tottenham have all ended with goals on both sides.

Perhaps it's Thomas Frank's influence, but Spurs have been uncharacteristically organised in their five games since their 2-2 draw and subsequent penalty shootout defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Uefa Super Cup, all of which have ended with one side failing to find the net.

However, it may be more open at the Amex against a Brighton team whose last two games have finished 2-1 (W1, L1).

Norwich vs Wrexham

Norwich and Wrexham have similar records and both teams have scoring in four of each team's five league games this season.

The Canaries should win at home, but the visitors can at least score a goal.

Wrexham have found the net in all five of their Championship outings and should get chances against an occasionally careless defence.

Plymouth vs Peterborough

Saturday's League One selection is the game between Plymouth and Peterborough.

The visiting Posh have been forever fun to watch and both teams have scored in four of their last five in all competitions.

Meanwhile, the Pilgrims' last two games have been a 4-2 win over Stockport and a 3-2 victory at Luton, suggesting there should be goals again in Devon.

Salford vs Swindon

A couple of League Two promotion rivals meet when Salford host Swindon.

Backing both teams to score has been a winner in the Ammies' last three League Two games, while the Robins' last two fourth-tier fixtures have resulted in 3-1 victories.

The last five head-to-heads have also seen goals on both sides.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
