Plymouth have lost their last three matches in League One, a run that has seen them deposed as division leaders, but they should be able to see off Rochdale at Spotland.

Ryan Lowe's Pilgrims have been excellent for much of the campaign and should not be too disheartened by their recent defeats against Charlton, who are stronger than their mid-table position suggests, and fellow promotion challengers Wigan and Wycombe.

Their 2-0 defeat at The Valley ended seven-game unbeaten run on the road and they should have little to fear from a trip to Dale.

The home side are 13th in League Two and their progress has been hampered by too many stalemates.

They are unbeaten in their last eight matches, but six of those games have finished level and they have kept just one clean sheet in their last nine home assignments.
