Verdict
League One highflyers Wigan made life hard for themselves by being held to a 0-0 draw by National League promotion hopefuls Solihull Moors in the first round of the FA Cup, and they face a tricky test in the televised replay at Damson Park.
The Latics are without injured midfielders Tom Naylor and Jordan Cousins and might have to be careful with winger James McClean, who started Ireland's 3-0 victory in Luxembourg on Sunday.
Solihull could fancy their chances but will be forced into at least one change from the first encounter after selling defender Tyrone Williams to fifth-tier leaders Chesterfield.
Wigan are 1-2 to reach the second round while Solihull are 7-4 to cause an upset.
League Two Stevenage are beginning the search for a new manager after announcing the departure of Alex Revell on Monday, and their problems are set to continue when they host MK Dons in their replay at the Lamex Stadium.
Boro chairman Phil Wallace decided to make a change after a run of six league games without a win, which left the club fourth from bottom.
There have been very few positives for the club in recent times, although they did raise their level to draw 2-2 away to MK Dons in the first round.
MK Dons were well below full strength on the day due to a coronavirus outbreak which forced several key players to isolate from the squad.
However, the situation has cleared up and the Dons were back to their best on Saturday when registering a 4-1 league victory at home to Cambridge.
The main priority for Dons manager Ryan Manning is to keep his team in the promotion hunt, but a decent FA Cup run could impact positively on January transfer plans by affording him a little extra in the budget.
It should be a strong MK Dons starting line-up and they look solid favourites to advance at the second attempt.
Cheltenham know all about the benefits of an FA Cup run having hosted Manchester City in last season's third round, and they can continue their journey by defeating League One rivals Gillingham at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
The teams drew 1-1 in a close-fought encounter at the Priestfield Stadium ten days ago, but Cheltenham are in better shape for the return match having benefited from a free weekend.
Gillingham drew 1-1 at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday but it came at a cost with top scorer Vadaine Oliver and captain Kyle Dempsey forced off with injuries.
Their small squad looks stretched and could be exposed by the Robins, who look a decent bet to reach the second round.
