Chievo v Genoa
Serie A BT Sport 3, 6pm

Dan Childs's verdict
Genoa have been finding it tough on their travels – losing their last three Serie A away fixtures – but can pick up a point against Chievo in Verona. Confidence will be sky-high in the Genoa camp after last Sunday’s 3-1 win at home to Juventus but they will have to be respectful of mid-table Chievo, who are only a point below them.

Recommendation
Draw
1pt 21-10 general

Key stat
Chievo have won just one of their last seven league fixtures

Udinese v Bologna
Serie A BT Sport 3, 8pm

Dan Childs's verdict
Udinese are having another difficult season and may have to settle for a share of the spoils against fellow strugglers Bologna. Neither side are likely to be relegated due to the dreadful results of the bottom three (Pescara, Crotone and Palermo) but neither are likely to finish in the top half. Udinese are bidding to avoid a third straight defeat while Bologna are winless on the road.

Recommendation
Draw
1pt 12-5 Betway

Key stat
Bologna have not won any of their last 13 away games

Deportivo v Real Sociedad
La Liga Sky Sports 2, 7.45pm

Dan Childs's verdict
Sociedad are shaping up as genuine contenders for Champions League qualification (they are fifth and have played Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid) and can continue their rise by defeating Deportivo. La Real were unlucky to draw 1-1 at home to Barca last week and can see off fourth-bottom Depor, who are winless in seven.

Recommendation
Real Sociedad
1pt 8-5 Betfair, Betway

Key stat
Sociedad have won five of their last six matches
