Champions Juventus are already eight points clear of the chasing pack after just 13 games in their Serie A title defence and they can maintain their 100 per cent road record at Fiorentina.

Juve’s hard-fought 1-0 win over Valencia on Tuesday guaranteed their progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League and they should have little trouble switching their attentions to domestic duties.

Massimiliano Allegri’s troops have won all six of their away league games, four of which have came just four days after a European encounter, and they are showing no signs of slowing down as opponents struggle to land a glove on them.

The Old Lady are 1-10 to claim an eighth consecutive title having dropped just two points - a surprise 1-1 draw at home to Genoa - and Fiorentina ultimately lack the tools to detain them.

The hosts have drawn five league games on the spin and failing to overcome Frosinone and Bologna, two sides occupying the relegation places, in their most recent outings must be some cause for concern.

Cristiano Ronaldo's headline summer arrival in Turin has made the best get better and his link-up with Paulo Dybala should strike fear into Fiorentina.

Defensively Juve are difficult to fault too. The re-signing of Leonardo Bonucci has allowed Allegri to frequently make changes to his back four with fellow centre-backs Giorgio Chiellini, Medhi Benatia and Daniele Rugani highlighting their strength in depth.

Given Juve's defensive resources, it's no surprise their last five away wins have featured three or fewer goals and another efficient performance could be on the cards in Florence.
