Udinese take on AC Milan as they look to continue their impressive home run from last season which saw them lose only one of their last ten games at the Stadio Friuli.

Coach Igor Tudor has been re-employed to keep Udinese safe from relegation trouble but he starts his first full season in charge aiming to improve on last year's 12th place, their highest finish in the last five years.

His team have been dealt a difficult opening game as they host a Milan side who finished seven places above them last season.

They will however take confidence from their recent record against Milan, having tasted defeat only four times in the 12 matches the teams have contested since 2014.

Milan will be looking to bounce back from last season, when narrowly missing out on Champions League qualification cost manager Gennaro Gattuso his job.

Despite a change in leadership the Rossoneri have failed to impress under Marco Giampaolo in pre-season, their sole win coming against Kosovan outfit Feronikeli, and they could come unstuck in their opener.

Milan have lost three out of their last four away fixtures on the opening day of the season and with Giampaolo attempting to embed his own attacking philosophy they may be set for another slow start.
