The Bundesliga 2 season is only three games old but the knives are already out for St Pauli manager Jos Luhukay, who desperately needs a win over Holstein Kiel.

However, his team's recent form suggests he might not be able to get one.

St Pauli are second from bottom of Germany's second tier having gained just one point from their opening three matches and that's bad news for a club who won just one of their final ten games last term.

Holstein should provide a tough test although their start has hardly been brilliant either.

That said, two goals from South Korea midfielder Jae-Sung Lee helped them come from behind and claim a 2-1 victory over Karlsruhe in their last outing.

That should boost their confidence but they have picked up just one point from their last six away league matches, so it is difficult to put much faith in them.

Both teams have scored in seven of St Pauli's last eight games but this may not prove to be a goal-filled encounter and the draw has to be a big runner in a match between two teams who have not hit the ground running this season.
