Sassuolo did the double over Empoli last season – 3-0 at home, 3-1 away in April – and can extend that sequence of dominance.

The 2-1 loss at Juventus last week was Sassuolo’s first defeat of the Serie A campaign, form which is in stark contrast to Empoli, who haven’t found the net in their last two.
