No stopping pacesetting Napoli at Udinese

But Sarri's gung-ho approach means hosts can score

Napoli's flying start to the season means they started the weekend as odds-on favourites for the Serie A title and bookmakers don’t expect a slip-up from Maurizio Sarri’s charges at Udinese.

Sarri’s stars have won six of their seven away games in the league this term, scoring at least three goals on five of those trips, and a seventh road win of the campaign is long odds-on.

Hosts Udinese have won four and lost eight of their 12 league matches and their last clash with one of the title contenders won’t have filled them with confidence – they lost 6-2 at home to a Juventus side who had forward Mario Mandzukic sent off in the 26th minute.

Given Napoli’s attacking prowess – 34 goals in 13 Serie A matches and ten in five in the Champions League – Udinese’s defenders could be in for another gruelling 90 minutes.

Napoli back themselves to outscore any opponents and only Manchester City, 2-1 and 4-2 winners over Sarri’s men in the Champions League, have managed to beat them at their own game this season.

Their gung-ho approach means they offer up chances, however, and backing the visitors to win and both teams to score could be the best bet, having copped in seven of their 11 league victories this term.

Recommendation
Napoli to win & both teams to score
1pt 9-5 general
