Hannover celebrated their return to the Bundesliga with a routine win at Mainz but they may struggle to build on that when a much-improved Schalke come calling.

The Royal Blues limped to a tenth-placed finish last term but they have been bolstered by the arrival of Nabil Bentaleb and Yevhen Konoplyanka, who both scored in the opening 2-0 victory over last season’s runners-up Leipzig, and their class may not take long to expose the newly-promoted hosts.
