Weekend preview

Sevilla v Getafe

Premier 2, 5.30pm Sunday

Sevilla are difficult to break down in Andalusia, losing only once at home in La Liga this term, and Getafe could be the latest side to leave the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium pointless.

Julen Lopetegui's side were made to work for their 1-0 success at home to Levante last week but they swept aside Luxembourg minnows Dudelange 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday.

Jules Kounde was the only player to retain his starting spot between those two games and they should be sharper against Getafe, who will be without key right-back Damian Suarez.

The visitors may struggle to pick themselves up after losing 1-0 to ten-man Basel despite seeing 65 per cent of the ball and winning the shot count 14-5.

Roma v AC Milan

Premier 1, 5pm Sunday

Roma and Milan have each won three games in Serie A this season but the capital club's issues are a far cry from the chaos at the San Siro.

The Milanese outfit appointed their eighth manager since 2014 when Stefano Pioli replaced Marco Giampaolo in the dugout and their new coach's first match in charge finished 2-2 against doldrum-dwellers Lecce.

They have players who can trouble opponents but fitting them into a system has proven problematic - only Cagliari (24) have used more players in Serie A than Milan's 23 this season.

Roma have lost only two of their last 21 home matches and deserved maximum points from Thursday's Europa League fixture with Borussia Monchengladbach, who grabbed an added-time equaliser thanks to a dubious penalty awarded against Chris Smalling.

Atalanta v Udinese

FreeSports, 2pm Sunday

Serie A's highest scorers meet the lowest when Atalanta take on Udinese in Bergamo.

The home side are pointless after their opening three Champions League matches, culminating in a 5-1 spanking at Manchester City on Tuesday.

But they have had no such problems domestically, top-scoring with 21 goals in Serie A, with Josip Ilicic and Alejandro Gomez proving dangerous creative outlets.

Luis Muriel has shouldered the goalscoring burden in Duvan Zapata's absence through injury and they should record a routine win against Udinese, who have scored only four times in the league and are yet to find the net on the road this season.

St-Etienne v Amiens

BT Sport EPSN, 4pm Sunday

Gabriel Silva scored for both sides in St-Etienne's unfortunate 1-1 draw with Ukrainians Oleksandriya on Thursday but Les Verts can make it four league wins on the spin against Amiens.

Former Leicester City boss Claude Puel has enjoyed a strong start to life with the hosts, who have won both matches under him 1-0 against Lyon and Bordeaux.

He should ring the changes for the visit of Amiens, who have shipped 15 league goals already this campaign and could be weakened by the absence of veteran defender Christophe Jallet.
