Antalyaspor v Fenerbahce

Reputation still counts for something in the betting markets and it could be worth going on form rather than tradition in the final Turkish Super Lig match of 2018.

Fenerbahce are odds-on to win at Antalyaspor even though they are enduring a nightmare season and sitting in the relegation zone after 16 rounds.

Much more was expected of the Yellow Canaries, who started the campaign in the Champions League qualification rounds with Phillip Cocu in charge but the Dutchman has since been sacked after an appalling run.

Sporting director Damien Comolli remains - which may explain why Fener find themselves in such a state - and a bunch of signings have not paid off.

Loanees Andre Ayew, Islam Slimani and Yassine Benzia arrived in the summer to join a squad that already included experienced professionals such as Roberto Soldado, Martin Skrtel and Mathieu Valbuena.

Whether those players have the hunger for a relegation fight remains to be seen, but there has been nothing unfortunate about Fenerbahce's plight.

Their total-shot ratio (share of match shots) is around the league average for but they are second-worst in the shots-on-target equivalent and their only away success this term was a smash-and-grab 1-0 Konyaspor.

Fener have won only three league matches all season and mid-table Antalyaspor should also make life difficult.

Recommendation
Antalyaspor or draw double chance
