Benfica v Braga

FreeSports, 5.30pm Sunday

There is a fascinating four-way fight for the Portuguese championship with Braga joining the traditional big three this season and the outsiders can show they belong in the title talk with a positive result in Lisbon.

One-nil to the Benfica will have been a popular chant around the Estadio da Luz in recent times - the Eagles have won each of their last four matches by the narrowest of margins.

It's hardly the kind of form, however, which will have Braga running scared and this fixture holds a different dynamic from their last five visits to Lisbon which all ended in defeat.

Benfica, after constantly selling their best players, are struggling to dominate domestically and Braga are very much the new kids on the block with only one defeat in all competitions this term.

That loss came late at Porto in a 1-0 reverse to the team who started the weekend at the summit, while Braga have already beaten Sporting, the other team in the title hunt, 1-0.

Braga fully played their part in that encounter and in Dyego Sousa they have a potential match-winner. The striker has scored ten league goals, including a hat-trick at Feirense last week.

Recommendation
Braga or draw double chance
