Europa League matchday six predictions

Nice vs Braga predictions

Nice's downward spiral from frustration through despair to crisis has caught many off guard in the south of France but makes them easy to oppose at home to Braga.

There was no hint of the pending troubles when Franck Haise's side signed off October by beating Lille 2-0 in Ligue 1.

Since then, however, they have played seven and lost seven, while players and staff in one shameful incident were physically assaulted by their own fans, many of whom are now boycotting the ground.

A crowd of less than 17,000 saw their latest calamity, a 1-0 home loss against Angers on Sunday, and with the only hostility from supporters being aimed at the home team rather than the visitors, Braga should be looking forward to the trip.

Nice have no points from five games so have no realistic prospect of qualifying anyway, whereas Braga are in seventh and will be looking to cement their place in the top eight.

Braga have four wins and a 1-1 draw at Rangers in their last five and Nice have lost all three of their previous matches against Portuguese opposition.

Brann vs Fenerbahce predictions

Fenerbahce head coach Domenico Tedesco has warned he will have only four outfield players on the bench at Brann as injuries, suspensions and ineligibility bite hard.

Jhon Duran was sent off in a 1-1 draw with Ferencvaros, and the ex-Aston Villa frontman joins Ismael Yuksek and Fred on the naughty step.

Nelson Semedo is out for a month after picking up an injury in the 1-1 draw at Basaksehir at the weekend, joining Caglar Soyuncu, Edson Alvarez, Marco Asensio and Sebastian Szymanski on the treatment table.

Cenk Tosun and one or two others were not included in the original squad which all adds up to this being a golden opportunity for Brann to take a giant stride towards the next stage.

The Norwegians have claimed a pair of away draws at Bologna and PAOK and can now take advantage of being at home against depleted opponents.
