Stage looks set for Spain's Canizares
Miguel Angel Juminez has finished in the top-ten at Crans-sur-Sierre 11 times, including a European Masters triumph in 2010, but he may not finish as top Spaniard this week.
While the game’s favourite cigar-smoker finished in the top three of the Senior Open and the US Senior Open, he failed to make the cut in seven of his nine regular tournaments before finishing 18th at The Open.
He missed the cut in this week’s tournament two years ago and did not compete last year, so he is worth opposing in a weak Spanish market.
