Leicester started the season as favourites to win the Europa League, but an opening draw with Napoli and a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Legia Warsaw has dented market confidence in them.
Attempting to get the show back on the road, Brendan Rodgers’s Foxes travel to Russia on Wednesday to take on Spartak Moscow.
Saturday’s confidence-building 4-2 win over Manchester United will have been exactly the return to action Rodgers would have demanded from his side after a rocky start to their season.
Hosts Spartak beat Napoli 3-2 in their last group outing but they did have the benefit of an extra player for the majority of the match.
Their other three European games this term have been ended in defeats to nil and they will be without key attackers Quincy Promes and Ezequiel Ponce on Wednesday which could give Leicester the edge.
