Sordet looks tasty to lead the French challenge
The game of moody Frenchman Victor Dubuisson appears to be in disarray and he looks a vulnerable odds-on favourite to be his leading countryman in the Open.
Dubuisson is as short as 4-9 for top Frenchman honours at Troon despite the fact he has missed the cut in four of his ten tournaments this year and has failed to better 42nd place in a main-tour strokeplay event.
A share of ninth spot in the Global Cup on the Japan Tour showed signs of life in Dubuisson at the end of last month, but he followed up by flopping in his national Open, finishing last of the weekend qualifiers in Paris.
