Rocket League Championship overview

It's the final week of league play in the Rocket League Championship Series season nine.

This season saw the league expand to ten teams from eight in North America and Europe after a similar move in the second tier - the Rocket League Rival Series - in season eight.

The league positions will determine the seedings for the Regional Championship with the last-placed team relegated to the RLRS.

There is a prize pool of $413,973.60 with the winners taking $96,397.

The planned World Championship event in Dallas has been cancelled due to the coronavirus.

Sunday match previews

The European division are in action on Sunday, with six matches starting between 4pm and 8.10pm.

The best bet of the week could be Endpoint to beat mousesports. Mouse announced on Wednesday that Scrub Killa, their talented Scottish star, had been released from their team, leaving their Italian substitute, Arju, to play in the remaining matches. He has never played at this level before and the 9-4 outsiders look worth backing for victory.

AS Monaco are still searching for their first win of the season after losing all eight of their games but they couldn't have come any closer last time out when Barcelona denied them victory in added time.

They can still avoid direct relegation to the RLRS if they beat Singularity (3-5) and other results go their way.

Barcelona should beat Team SoloMid to strengthen their case for a top-two finish.

Dignitas v Reciprocity could be a close series. Reciprocity were the European champions last season, while Dignitas finished third at the World Championship.

Mousesports could struggle again in the match against Barcelona as they adjust to playing without Scrub Killa. Barcelona should win and a 3-1 correct-score looks worth backing.

Leaders Vitality can beat Veloce to secure their place as the top team in Europe heading into the Regional Championships. Fairy Peak and Kaydop are first and second in goals per game with 0.91 and 0.79 respectively.
