Regular Tour players should be dominant
Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Phil Mickelson will command a huge gallery at Baltusrol Golf Club, New Jersey, today for the first round of the USPGA Championship and it should prove a high quality affair.
The trio of superstars tee off at 1.30pm UK and Ireland time, with Dustin Johnson, Henrik Stenson and Danny Willett comprising the marquee group of the later starters at 6.45pm.
The matches that first-round threeball punters should be concentrating on, though, are off soon after midday, when club professionals are likely to be crushed by seasoned US Tour stars.
