Match preview

Jose Mourinho was scathing about the performance of Tottenham's fringe players in a 1-0 loss at Royal Antwerp last week and seems likely to select a stronger team for the matchday three clash at Ludogorets Razgrad as the Londoners bid to get their Europa League challenge back on track.

Spurs have fallen three points behind Antwerp and are level with LASK, who they defeated 3-0 in north London.

It leaves them anxious to claim maximum points from two clashes against Ludogorets, who are pointless after two matches, and increases the possibility of Mourinho sticking with some of the players responsible for Sunday's hard-fought 2-1 home victory over Brighton.

The Bulgarian champions reached the knockout stages last term – losing 4-1 to Inter in the round of 32.

However, they seem to have regressed over the last 12 months and are unlikely to match Spurs, who could grind out a low-scoring victory.
