Rangers have top spot in Group D at their mercy, but a trip to Lech Poznan isn’t as straightforward as their odds-on prices suggest.
Steven Gerrard’s men are level with Benfica on 11 points after five games and are already through, but they know victory in Poland will see them progress as group winners.
However, Lech Poznan are a formidable force on home soil and certainly pack enough punch up front to give Rangers a fright.
Poznan were beaten 4-2 by visitors Benfica on matchday one but they had 19 shots and they lived up to that promise when making the most of home advantage in a 3-1 win over Standard Liege.
Gers’ sturdy defence has been the platform to their success this season but they have conceded in each of their last three Europa League games. They shipped five in two entertaining draws with Benfica and twice had to come from behind to beat Standard Liege 3-2 at Ibrox last time out.
