Kim 'Doinb' Tae-sang LOL Pro League can star for FunPlus Phoenix
League of Legends is among the most popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games in the world of E-Sports. Here is our guide to the latest round of the Legends Pro League (LPL) Spring 2020.
LPL Spring 2020 overview
League Of Legends is a strategy game where two teams of five compete to destroy each other's bases. Players choose their 'champions' to use in-game and kill opponents as well as taking down towers along the way.
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the League Of Legends Pro League in China was postponed after only two games at the end of January but resumed on March 9 and, like other E-Sports, has now switched to an online format.
This is the first time professional LOL matches have not been played in-person.
This is a prestigious division with the previous two winners of the LOL World Championships hailing from China.

Match previews
The LOL Pro League's postponement seems to have done Beijing-based FunPlus Phoenix the world of good.
Having lost their two week-one encounters against Invictus and eStar - two of the division's early pacesetters - FunPlus won five successive matches after the break to fly up to third in the overall standings.
They have won their last four encounters 2-0 but could see more resistance from lowly Bilibili Gaming at 11am on Wednesday.
Winners of the 2019 World Championship, FunPlus Phoenix claimed 25 kills in their most recent scalp of Royal Never Give Up, with Lin 'Lwx' Wei-Xiang in particular inflicting significant damage in team fights and racking up 13 assists.
Mid laner (a player with the ability to impact every lane) Kim 'Doinb' Tae-sang, meanwhile, was a dominant force in game one with six kills but opponents Bilibili are not without their own top performers.
They got three games out of highflyers eStar last time out, winning the kill count 20-5 in the first game and accumulating more than 76,000 worth of gold in game two.
FunPlus are 1-12 with bet365 to win but backing a 2-1 win at 11-4 could be the shrewder betting approach.
