The serious business of the Open Championship at Royal Troon looms large, but first there is a gentle loosener on the relatively straightforward links of Castle Stuart. Branden Grace can have high hopes of winning both.

Phil Mickelson did the Scottish Open and Open double in 2013, using Castle Stuart to acclimatise to Scotland before glory at Muirfield, and Grace may follow suit. Castle Stuart has not been used since Lefty beat Grace in a playoff there three years ago.
