Under 3.5 goals

Tottenham and Manchester United meet in the Europa League final and the stakes are sky-high for both clubs' players, managers and supporters.

Rarely can two teams have gone into a major final in worse form than the Premier League strugglers yet one of them will get their hands on the trophy and seal a place in next season's Champions League.

Spurs have scored only once in their last three league games – a 1-1 draw at West Ham and 2-0 defeats to Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.

Goals have been scarce for United in the English top flight all season and they have failed to find the net in five of their last eight league fixtures.

That run includes 1-0 defeats to Nottingham Forest, Wolves and Chelsea, as well as a dour 0-0 derby draw with Manchester City, and under 3.5 goals looks a solid selection in Bilbao.

Dominic Solanke to score or assist

Dominic Solanke scored in Tottenham's 3-0 Premier League win at Old Trafford in September and bagged a brace in December's 4-3 EFL Cup victory over Manchester United.

The Spurs striker has also played a key role in his side's run to the Europa League final and can play a big part at San Mames.

Solanke started the European campaign with a goal and an assist in the 3-0 home win over Qarabag and he has scored crucial goals in Tottenham's last three games in the competition.

The frontman, who notched in this term's home and away defeats to Premier League champions Liverpool, has registered five goals and four assists in just 716 minutes of Europa League action and should be on penalty duty for Spurs.

Manuel Ugarte to be shown a card

Manchester United midfielder Manuel Ugarte came on for the final 20 minutes of Friday's Premier League defeat at Chelsea and picked up his 11th booking of the season.

Ugarte has committed 41 fouls in the top flight, more than any other United player, despite starting only 22 of their 37 fixtures.

His first booking for his new club came in September's home defeat to Tottenham and he may struggle to stay out of trouble in a robust midfield battle against fellow Uruguay international Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma.

Ugarte, cautioned in his last two World Cup qualifying appearances as well as the Europa League quarter-final first leg in Lyon, looks a leading card candidate in the final.
