Kosovo's fearless attitude to their first European Championship qualifying campaign has been a breath of fresh air but their efforts to secure a top-two finish in Group A could end with a defeat to the Czech Republic in Plzen.

The Czechs were under pressure after losing 2-1 away to Kosovo in September, but they responded with victories away to Montenegro (3-0) and at home to England (2-1) to stay in control of their destiny.

The victory against England was deserved and could mark a turning point for Jaroslav Silhavy's side, who now realise they can compete with the elite.

Kosovo have not kept a clean sheet in any of their three away games in the group and may struggle to contain the Czechs, who are probably overpriced at 150-1 in the outright market.

Turkey are top of Group H, ahead of world champions France due to head-to-head results, and they can clinch qualification by defeating Iceland in Istanbul.

Iceland have gone backwards since reaching the quarter-finals at Euro 2016 and their slim hopes could be erased by the Turks, who are bidding to maintain their 100 per cent home record.
