You could be forgiven for not noticing that Spain have a Euro 2020 qualifier coming up against Sweden judging by the Spanish newspaper coverage which is focusing almost solely on Real Madrid and Barcelona's transfer business.

Can Barca force through a deal for Matthijs de Ligt to pair him up with Dutch teammate Frenkie de Jong? Who's next in at the Bernabeu with Paul Pogba tipped to be the one to follow Eden Hazard to Real Madrid?

The Madrid business is crazy, with some reports suggesting they need to raise the best part of £300m in sales to pay for their all-out assault on the transfer market this summer, but one player who is already at the club could give a little nudge to Zinedine Zidane.

Martin Odegaard was signed by Madrid in a blaze of publicity as a 15-year-old, and made his senior debut for the Norwegian national team at the same age, but it has been difficult for the now 20-year-old to get a sniff in Spanish football.

However, this season's loan spell to Vitesse has done Odegaard the world of good. He was excellent in the Eredivisie and carried that form into the national team with a goal in Friday's 2-2 draw with Romania.

Odegaard has notched in four of his last seven matches for club and country and could be a nice bet at 10-1 to open the scoring against Faroe Islands, particularly as Bournemouth's Joshua King has missed training for Lars Lagerback's side.

It's a tough coupon and little stands out in the match betting, although of the real shorties Serbia are best avoided despite having a soft match on paper at home to Lithuania.

Manager Mladen Krstajic and his players are under intense pressure following Friday's shambolic 5-0 loss away to Ukraine and the squad was already weakened by the withdrawal of injured midfielders Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Nemanja Matic.

Luka Milivojevic is absent after a row with Krstajic and, while Serbia should win, the ingredients are in place for a shock result.
