Preview

Preston slipped into the bottom half of the Championship after Saturday's 0-0 draw at Cardiff but they can give their slim promotion chances a boost by defeating highflying Luton at Kenilworth Road.

North End found themselves six points outside of the top six following the weekend's fixtures, but they have become tough to beat under astute manager Ryan Lowe, who has presided over six league wins, eight draws and two defeats since his December appointment.

Preston need to go on a winning run to threaten the playoffs but their resilience, coupled with the offensive quality of Aston Villa loanee Cameron Archer and 13-goal top scorer Emil Riis, may be enough to topple Luton in Bedfordshire.

Luton have lost three of their four March encounters and could complete a losing double at the hands of Preston, who defeated them 2-0 at Deepdale last October.

Peterborough are propping up the division and could be nudged closer to League One by Swansea, who look solid favourites to defeat them at London Road.

The Swans lack consistency but their possession-based style could suck the life out of Posh, who haven't registered a league win in 14 attempts.
