Oldham v Leyton Orient

Six straight defeats, the last three of them at home, have left Oldham three points from safety in the League Two relegation zone and the Latics may struggle to stop the rot against in-form visitors Leyton Orient.

The latest blow to Oldham's bid to stay in the EFL came on Saturday when Mansfield scored a 94th-minute winner in an open game but the Stags were good value for their victory, hitting the woodwork and having ten shots on target to their hosts' four.

Oldham face another on-song side in Orient, who followed a run of four straight draws with a hat-trick of victories over Rochdale, Harrogate and Barrow.

The O's had drawn 11 of their 17 away games before the 3-0 win at Harrogate but they should be targeting maximum points against opponents beaten 4-0 in September's reverse fixture.

Rochdale v Carlisle

Carlisle extended their remarkable run of form under Paul Simpson to six wins in seven games thanks to a 1-0 victory over highflying Bristol Rovers on Saturday and they look a big price at struggling Rochdale.

The Cumbrians' only blip since Simpson took charge was a 2-1 home defeat to promotion-chasing Newport and they have taken 16 points from a possible 18 in away matches against bottom-eight clubs such as Rochdale.

The hosts, now six points behind Carlisle in the table, lost 2-0 at Brunton Park on March 1 and have picked up just two points and scored only two goals in their six subsequent matches.
