Preview

Reading boss Paul Ince was spitting at the manner of his side's 2-1 loss at Burnley on Saturday, complaining about rough justice.

But the Royals have now suffered six losses in eight road trips in tier two and that makes them hard to fancy at Kenilworth Road, especially without key midfielder Mamadou Loum, who is suspended.

The Hatters aren't exactly prolific winners in front of their own fans – five of their nine home games have ended in stalemates, including Saturday's showdown with Sunderland which ended 1-1. They have lost only one of their last nine – battered at rivals Watford – which shows they are doing something right.

Luton did the double over Reading last term, although both games were tight. Indeed, the last four matches between them have produced four goals and if it's close the draw is a big runner.

Key stat

Only two sides have drawn more games than Luton's tally of seven in the Championship
