Joe Casey's EFL predictions
Plymouth vs Coventry predictions
There are a number of Championship games today that will have a big impact at both ends of the table and a crucial one sees relegation-threatened Plymouth host Coventry.
Argyle’s home record has given them a chance of staying up but they look likely to suffer defeat as they face one of the form teams in the division.
The Sky Blues were 17th when Frank Lampard took over but now sit three points clear of Middlesbrough in the final playoff spot thanks to a run of eight wins from their last 12 games.
They were 4-0 victors when these sides met in December and will be boosted by some absences for Argyle.
Captain Joe Edwards was sent off in Plymouth's defeat to Middlesbrough last time out and key defender Maksym Talovierov is likely to miss out, although Nikola Katic faces a fitness test.
Absences to what is already the worst defence in the division, having conceded 84 times in 43 games, are a big blow and the away side should be able to take full advantage.
Luton vs Bristol City predictions
Another tie with big implications in both the Championship playoff and relegation battles pits Luton against Bristol City.
The Hatters are scrapping away to avoid back-to-back relegations but their record against top-six clubs leaves plenty to be desired.
The home side have lost nine of their ten matches against teams in the top six and are facing a Robins side who have only lost one of their last 12 games and start the day fifth in the table.
Liam Manning’s side have drawn ten of their away games this term so take the stalemate out of the equation and back Bristol City draw no bet.

Accrington vs Carlisle predictions
It is 26 years since Jimmy Glass famously kept Carlisle in the EFL with a last-minute goal against Plymouth and the Cumbrians are attempting a similar great escape this season under Mark Hughes.
After looking destined for the drop for some time, they have won three games in a row to cut the gap to safety to four points.
They visit an Accrington team who are not out of the woods yet as they are just six points clear of Carlisle but did pick up a morale-boosting success against Salford last time out.
Hughes’ side have discovered their shooting boots, scoring in seven of their last eight games, and backing both teams to score looks the best bet in what could be a frantic relegation scrap.
