Bristol City v Coventry

Bristol City’s home form has been the catalyst for them moving away from the drop zone after a poor start, and they have won six of their last eight games at Ashton Gate.

The Robins host Coventry in what should be a tight affair. The Sky Blues may lack the consistency with such a small squad to maintain a top six push.

Hull v Barnsley

Barnsley are the only team in the division without an away win and their last-minute defeat to Coventry at the weekend has left them at risk of becoming detached at the bottom of the table.

Hull could still get dragged into a relegation fight with two points from five games so this is a vital game for both sides. Young Hull forward Keane Lewis-Potter leads the Tigers in goals, shots and shots on target and is fancied to get on the scoresheet.

Preston v Nottingham Forest

Preston’s defeat at the hands of Reading was their first in seven games but they could make it back-to-back losses against the impressive Nottingham Forest.

The away side will be fresh after their game with Bournemouth was postponed and can take advantage of a North End side they beat 3-0 when the two sides met earlier in the season.

Reading v Birmingham

Reading picked up a crucial win in their fight against relegation on Saturday but that was their first in 13. Paul Ince has replaced Veljko Paunovic in the dugout but it's hard to fancy them even against an inconsistent Birmingham side.
