Match preview

Birmingham looked unlikely playoff contenders at the start of the season but John Eustace has put his Blues side firmly in the promotion picture and they look excellent value to cause a shock at Turf Moor.

Birmingham have lost just two of their last 11 Championship matches and have recorded good wins over QPR, Reading, Bristol City, Stoke and Hull during that impressive sequence of results.

Of course, Burnley sit at the top of the Championship table and have won nine of their last 11 second-tier games. However, Birmingham were one of the sides who avoided defeat against the high-flying Clarets in the reverse fixture earlier this season and they could repeat the trick at Turf Moor.

The Blues are rated 9-2 shots to claim three points on Tuesday night and they certainly seem to have a better chance of winning than those offers suggest.
