Brighton have been one of the form teams in the early Premier League exchanges, taking seven points from games against Manchester United, Newcastle and West Ham.

Graham Potter’s side will be hoping to carry that form into the EFL Cup, where they visit Forest Green on Wednesday.

The hosts have undergone a number of changes after Rob Edwards led them to the League Two title last season, most notably the manager departing for Watford.

His replacement Ian Burchnall is a disciple of many of the same footballing philosophies as Edwards, namely a focus on retaining the ball, so there is a level of continuity.

Forest Green have found the net in all but one of their five matches this year and are fancied to get on the scoresheet against what may be a heavily rotated Brighton side, although the Seagulls' class should tell.

In the Champions League playoffs, Bodo/Glimt travel to Croatia for the second leg of their tie with Dinamo Zagreb with a slender advantage after picking up a 1-0 win in Norway last week.

Amahl Pellegrino has been a revelation for Bodo this season, scoring 23 times in 23 matches.

The wide forward scored the only goal in the first leg and looks to be his side’s best chance of finding the net.

With Zagreb having to force the issue from a goal down, Pellegrino could be a major threat on the counter and is the selection to score at any time in what looks set to be an intriguing clash.
