Orlando City have propelled themselves up the MLS ladder and should capitalise on the inconsistency of a stumbling Colorado Rapids side through the goalscoring exploits of Dom Dwyer.

The visitors have won their last four matches, notching 12 goals in the process, and Dwyer has been pivotal, scoring five times to lie second in the top-scorer standings.

Colorado capitulated in the closing stages of their recent outing against Real Salt Lake, conceding three goals in the final ten minutes, and have struggled to string together convincing performances.

The defensive unit of the hosts features former Everton goalie Tim Howard and ex-Ipswich defender Tommy Smith, but they are unlikely to nullify a clinical City frontline.

Orlando operate in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Dwyer supported by veteran number ten Sacha Kljestan and wingers Stefano Pinho and Chris Muller, who has found the net in the club’s last three matches.

City have not conceded in any of their three meetings with Colorado and are vying for their best MLS finish since they joined in 2015.

Dwyer is central to their game and is fresh from converting his 100th professional career goal in the win over San Jose Earthquakes.
