Poor away results are undermining Dagenham and Redbridge's promotion push but they can triumph on a National League road trip for the second time this season by beating fourth-bottom Chester at the Deva Stadium.

The Daggers have banked 25 points from home matches this season - more than any team in the division - but have not won on their travels since a 2-1 success at Boreham Wood in August.

However, they moved up to fifth with a 1-0 success at home to promotion rivals Dover on Tuesday and are only five points behind leaders Wrexham.

Winning the title remains a realistic aim for John Still's side, who are the joint-top scorers in the division with 33 goals from 21 games.

Survival is the aim for Chester, who have posted just three league wins all season.

They dug out a 2-2 draw at injury-hit Leyton Orient on Tuesday but may find it tougher against a Daggers side determined to put some pressure on the promotion-chasing pack.
