Match preview

QPR produced one of their best performances of the season to win 3-2 at home to Cardiff on Saturday and they can follow it up by holding Derby to a draw at Pride Park.

Hoops boss Mark Warburton will be expecting a tough game despite Derby's early-season struggles which leave them languishing in the drop zone.

The Rams have not looked like relegation fodder in recent outings and registered a third successive 1-1 draw when travelling to Bournemouth last weekend.

A steady rise up the table should occur over the next few months although a lack of firepower remains a major concern. Martyn Waghorn leads Derby's scoring charts with two goals in four appearances.

QPR's chances of coping with Waghorn are increased by the return of key defender Rob Dickie from suspension.

However, Warburton's side have not won on their travels this season and may have to settle for a share of the spoils.

Key stat

Derby have drawn their last three matches.
