Cork's defensive strength should see them avoid defeat
Kick-offs from 7.45pm Monday
Cork City should earn at least a point in Tallaght and they are appealing in the draw-no-bet market, despite being easy to back.
City's back four on Friday night against Dundalk contained none of the quartet John Caulfield relied on last season. They deserve immense credit, as it has been a pretty seamless transition, and Dundalk were kept quiet in a 1-0 defeat.
Shamrock Rovers have two points from their last five games, which is clearly nowhere near good enough. They were much better in Derry on Friday but Cork dont lose many games and one goal may be enough for them.
Derry City are a far better side than Limerick and one presumes that the Markets Field pitch is improving a bit, which will suit the Candystripes, who are a bit big at 4-5. Their form has been sensational.
Bray have been much better of late and they might offer a little value against Sligo, whose set-up means they do not score very much. This could be quite tight and Bray have the quality to nick a goal or two.
