Argentina

Argentina were arguably the most poorly coached team at the World Cup as they failed to get anywhere near their massive potential.

Jorge Sampaoli was dismissed after the World Cup and they head into the Copa America under 41-year-old Lionel Scaloni, who has no previous managerial experience.

Scaloni's outfit have an abundance of attacking quality but defensive weakness could let them down.

Colombia

The World Cup was slightly disappointing for Colombia, who were still only a penalty shootout away from going through to a quarter-final against Sweden.

Had they beaten England anything would have been possible and they will be hoping for better fortune this summer.

Star man James Rodriguez has had an ordinary season on loan at Bayern Munich but will be key to their hopes.

Paraguay

Paraguay have had a miserable 12 months and still seem to be suffering from their failure to qualify for World Cup 2018.

Their qualification bid went down to the last game but they choked, losing 1-0 at home to basement boys Venezuela.

They have struggled for goals for several years and will be hoping for a spark from Newcastle's exciting attacker Miguel Almiron.

Qatar

The process of preparing a team to compete at the 2022 World Cup continues for Qatar, who will compete at the Copa America for the first time.

Qatar got their hands on a major trophy for the first time when winning the Asian Cup in February this year but the overall standard of opposition in Brazil will be much more challenging.
