Real Betis vs Fiorentina predictions

Will this finally be Fiorentina's year to win the Conference League? Beaten finalists in the last two seasons, La Viola are again through to the last four but they are 11-10 outsiders to progress past semi-final foes Real Betis.

The Benito Villamarin will be rocking as Manuel Pellegrini looks to guide Los Verdiblancos to their maiden European final and they are in good form too, beating Real Valladolid 5-1 last Thursday.

Betis had the weekend off due to the Copa del Rey final and have lost only one of their seven home games in the Conference League, most recently recording a 2-0 win over Jagiellonia Bialystok before drawing 1-1 in Poland.

Fiorentina beat Celje 2-1 on the road before drawing 2-2 at the Artemio Franchi, and subsequent 2-1 wins over Cagliari and Empoli have lifted them to eighth in Serie A and extended their unbeaten record to nine matches.

Raffaele Palladino has emulated predecessor Vincenzo Italiano by balancing both domestic and continental interests, but Fiorentina may have to accept a defeat in Seville.

However, the Italians have scored ten times on the road in this season's competition and can keep the tie alive ahead of next week's return leg in Tuscany.
