After a dismal run Chesterfield are finally showing signs of life with three wins from their last four games, and they should play their part in an entertaining clash against in-form Notts County.

Goals have been frequent at the Proact Stadium with both teams scoring in seven of Chesterfield’s eight home matches.

County, relegated to the National League 12 months after the Spireites, have been on a similar run of goals for both teams in their last six road fixtures.

Both sides looking sharp in attack but vulnerable in defence and they can each get on the scoreboard.

Notts County have scored two goals in each of their last five matches.

Defenders Anthony Gerrard and David Buchanan are back in contention after injuries. Goalkeeper Shwan Jalal (groin) is an injury doubt. Sam Wedgbury (calf) is out.

County have reported no new injuries since beating Belper in the FA Cup.
