Paris St-Germain should have far too much class for Red Star

Neymar, Bernat and PSG surely won't blow a ten-point advantage in Ligue 1

Champions League Group C
BT Sport Extra, 8pm Tuesday

Paris St-Germain saved their Champions League skins against Liverpool on matchday five and they are unlikely to blow their golden chance to reach the last 16 away to Red Star Belgrade.

Defeat to Liverpool would have left PSG in the Europa League and there is still a chance of that should things go horribly wrong in Belgrade. But even if Neymar fails a fitness test there is more than enough in the squad for them to win comfortably.

Napoli drew in Belgrade and Liverpool lost, but on both occasions there was a lack of respect shown to Belgrade. This means everything to PSG and Thomas Tuchel's squad will be nicely rested following their Ligue 1 postponement at the weekend.

Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani are used to beating up weak opponents in domestic fixtures and Red Star were well and truly battered in Paris, losing 6-1.

The atmosphere will be difficult, but PSG should be backed to quieten the home faithful early doors.

Recommendation
PSG-PSG double result
