Match preview

Chelsea can go through the motions against Dinamo Zagreb in a low-key and probably low-scoring conclusion to their Champions League Group E campaign.

With top spot in the section secure and a huge match against Arsenal coming up at the weekend, Graham Potter will make wholesale changes to his side to surely remove any temptation – if there was one – to lump on the Blues at skinny odds.

There's plenty on the game for the Croats, who may well qualify for the Europa League with a win.

But after a campaign which started well – they beat Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea 1-0 in their opener – they have picked up just a solitary point from a possible 12 and have looked unimpressive in two previous away games.

They are also not in the greatest of form, having won just one of their last six matches in all competitions though they remain top of their Premier League despite Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Osijek.

It's anyone's guess what side Potter fields at Stamford Bridge – he's already shown he does like to rotate – but it would be no great surprise if this doesn't just fizzle out into something of a non-event despite fringe players such as Armando Broja and Carney Chukwuemeka desperate to take any opportunity to shine.

There was one goal when they met in the Croatian capital in September and both sides' matches are going at under 2.5 goals a game in the campaign so far, so maybe that's a way in.

Key stat

Chelsea haven't failed to score in a home game in the last 13 months.
