Match preview
Ajax and Valencia must assume that Chelsea will beat Lille which means this is a do-or-die contest in Amsterdam.
The hosts are in the better position as they know a point will do them just fine, whereas Valencia could be forced to push for maximum points should Chelsea oblige at home to Lille.
The Dutch outfit, semi-finalists last season, were shocked 2-0 by Willem II on Friday when Erik ten Hag’s outfit possibly had this huge fixture on their minds.
Valencia carry a goal threat in La Liga, failing to score only once this season, but Los Che tend to be far more reserved in Europe.
They have scored only three goals in their last seven Champions League away games and could be caught on the counter late on.
Key stat
Ajax have lost just two of their last 18 European encounters.
Benfica v Zenit
Where to watch
BT Sport Extra, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Both teams to score

Match preview
The Europa League is the best prize Benfica can aim for heading into matchday six but the Portuguese league leaders should still cause problems for a Zenit side desperate to make the knockout stages.
A victory would do for Zenit, who possess a twin striking threat in Artem Dzyuba and Sardar Azmoun.
The duo have been a menace, both scoring in the 3-1 reverse-fixture triumph over Benfica, and the pair were also on target as Zenit thrashed Dinamo Moscow 3-0 last time out.
Benfica have scored in every Champions League match this season and will be kicking themselves after letting slip a 2-0 lead on matchday five against Leipzig.
However, they are still waiting for a clean sheet.
Key stat
Benfica have won just three of their last 18 matches in the Champions League.
Borussia Dortmund v Slavia Prague
Where to watch
BT Sport Extra, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Borussia Dortmund to win & over 2.5 goals

Match preview
Borussia Dortmund need help from already-qualified Barcelona to reach the last 16 but they can at least do their job by beating Slavia Prague at home in a high-scoring contest.
Dortmund made it eight wins in 11 home games this season with a 5-0 romp over Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday as Jadon Sancho helped himself to a double.
Sancho now has five goals in his last four appearances and seems to have put behind him talk of a move away from the club.
Lucien Favre’s outfit can usually be relied upon to be dangerous in the final third although it was only last month when Paderborn scored three times in Dortmund.
Slavia are unlucky to have been eliminated and can play their part in the contest.
Key stat
Borussia Dortmund have scored in their last 32 home matches, during which time they have notched 92 goals.
Inter Milan v Barcelona
Where to watch
BT Sport ESPN, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet

Match preview
Barcelona are through to the knockout stages and the decision to rest Lionel Messi will be music to the ears of Inter supporters as they hunt a victory to guarantee them a last-16 berth.
Gerard Pique has been rested alongside Messi and, while Barca still have plenty of talent, it remains to be seen whether their desire is able to match hungry Inter.
Stefano Sensi, Nicolo Barella, Alexis Sanchez and Roberto Gagliardini remain sidelined for Inter with Antonio Conte basically reliant on the same players game after game.
They won’t be lacking in continuity at least and striker Lautaro Martinez could add to his growing reputation.
Lethal Lautaro has bagged in each of his last four Champions League outings.
Key stat
Lautaro Martinez has scored five goals in his last four matches.
Lyon v Red Bull Leipzig
Where to watch

Best bet

Match preview
Teams don’t always treat topping the group as seriously as they should and that could cost Leipzig away to Lyon.
The attack-minded German outfit are already through and could be forgiven for having one eye on a crucial period in the Bundesliga, including a trip to Borussia Dortmund next week.
Julian Nagelsmann’s visitors are almost favourites which looks a little short. Only once have they failed to score this term but that was in a 2-0 home loss to Lyon.
The French hosts have been wildly inconsistent for much of the season, although last week’s 4-0 win over Nimes should have at least restored confidence with new captain Memphis Depay influential.
Key stat
Leipzig have kept two clean sheets in their last 14 games in all competitions.
Napoli v Genk
Where to watch
BT Sport 1, 5.55pm Tuesday
Best bet
Genk +2 on Asian handicap

Match preview
The hard work has been done by Napoli as their four points against Liverpool have left them with the seemingly simple task of needing only a draw at home to Genk to reach the Champions League last 16.
They may not even need that against the eliminated Belgians as long as Salzburg don’t beat Liverpool, but the mood in the camp means Napoli are far from absolute home bankers to beat Genk.
Carlo Ancelotti is on the verge of the sack, the squad has openly revolted against the owner of the club, and Napoli’s last victory came against Salzburg on October 23.
They have drawn with the likes of Spal, Genoa and Udinese as well as losing to Bologna and Genk can at least avoid a heavy beating.
Key stat
Genk have scored in 33 of their last 35 European matches.
