Liverpool are 4-5 to progress in the Champions League after drawing Real Madrid in the last 16 in a rematch of last season’s final.

The Reds will be looking to finally get the better of Los Blancos, who they have faced in three of their last five campaigns in Europe’s premier competition, and been knocked out on each occasion.

Despite that, Liverpool are marginal favourites with bet365 to qualify for the quarter-finals, with Carlo Ancelotti’s men 19-20 to book their spot in the last eight.

Their rivals Manchester City were clipped from 2-1 to 13-8 to win the Champions League after they drew RB Leipzig in the round of 16 and a number of the other fancied runners were handed tough ties, including Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich, who face each other.

PSG are out to 10-1 from 7-1 with Betfred to win their first Champions League trophy after being paired with the German side who beat them in the 2020 final.

Chelsea, winners two seasons ago, drew Borussia Dortmund in the first phase of the knockout stages while Tottenham landed the second-most successful team in the competition’s history, seven-time winners Milan.

Graham Potter's side are 4-9 to make it to the last eight with bet365 while Spurs, who lost 2-1 to Liverpool on Sunday, are 1-2 with the same firm.

The first legs will be played two a night on February 14-15 and 21-22 with the return matches being on March 7-8 and 14-15.

Like Liverpool, Manchester United also landed a blockbuster tie with a Spanish side as they drew Barcelona in the knockout round of the Europa League.

However the Red Devils are chalked up as 11-10 outsiders to progress while Barca, who dropped into the competition after failing to progress from their Champions League group, are 4-6 favourites to qualify .
