Celtic look well on their way to a double treble and they can sweep aside Rangers at Hampden. Again.

There was a surge of optimism at the Ibrox club before the teams' last encounter last month. Rangers were buoyed by some excellent performances and the Hoops appeared to be vulnerable.

But a home 3-2 loss to ten-men Celtic really knocked the stuffing out of Graeme Murty’s side resulting in them picking up just one point in three games.

They got back on track last week and on the face of it a 4-0 win against a Dundee side who had achieved a goalless draw at Parkhead three days earlier looked impressive, but don’t be deceived. Rangers were poor for large chunks of the game before Dundee wilted.

Celtic haven’t been firing on all cylinders either, but Brendan Rodgers relishes a rumble against Rangers.

He has plenty of options over the pitch and in Moussa Dembele has a goalscorer who seems to come alive in Old Firm games.

Rangers may well play it cagier than they did last time, but they have enough in their team to believe they can score.

However, they are likely to be outgunned by their old rivals.

Recommendation
Celtic to win & both teams to score
