Rotherham have been getting some tough breaks in the Championship relegation battle but they can give their survival hopes a major boost by avoiding defeat at Brentford.

The Millers remained four points behind fourth-bottom Derby after Saturday's 1-0 loss at Barnsley which was a bitter pill given their dominance of the game - they won the shot count 16 to seven - and the nature of Carlton Morris's controversial second-minute goal.

Morris's robust aerial challenge on Millers' goalkeeper Viktor Johansson left his opponent with a fractured eye socket but it wasn't enough to persuade referee Gavin Ward to disallow the goal.

Paul Warne's side cannot afford to feel sorry for themselves and their chances against Brentford may be increased by a lack of focus from the home side.

The Bees are assured of a playoff place and key players could be given a breather, affording Rotherham a great opportunity to add to their tally.
