Alloa have the tools to see off battle-weary Brechin
Scottish Championship playoff final, first leg
BBC Alba, 7.35pm Wednesday
Alloa can take a huge step to returning to the Ladbrokes Championship by beating a shattered Brechin City side.
Both teams needed extra time and penalties to see off their opponents in the semi-finals, but City's fantastic win against Raith Rovers, in which they fought back from the brink, must have taken a lot out of a squad that was already paper thin.
Alloa have already beaten Brechin three out of four times this season, including a 6-1 home walloping and two wins at Glebe Park.
The pitch there - overlooked by the famous hedge - isn't the best, but Jim Goodwin will have his troops primed for that, and striker Greig Spence is a particular danger for the Wasps.
