Dramatic changes of fortune are nothing new in Sky Bet League One, so don’t go dismissing the chance of a spectacular rise or fall in the second half of the campaign.

Plymouth’s astonishing surge from bottom four to top six in the space of a few months last season was truly memorable, while Notts County fans will do well to forget the 2014-15 season when they were in the playoffs at this stage of the campaign. They finished up being relegated.

Fast-starting Accrington Stanley are enduring a minor freefall and it looks worth backing to continue.
