LINCOLN caused a sensation in the FA Cup by beating Burnley 1-0 to become the first non-league club in 103 years to reach the quarter-finals.

The impressive Imps upset odds of 11-1 to triumph at Turf Moor with Sean Raggett, 50-1 to score the opening goal, the hero as he headed home a dramatic winner with City’s only attempt on target after 89 minutes.

Danny Cowley’s National League side, who had been 2,000-1 to win the FA Cup on third-round weekend, are now 250-1.

Burnley failed to justify odds of 1-3 and there were plenty of other shocks in the FA Cup with 4-9 Manchester City were held 0-0 by Huddersfield, while Premier League champions Leicester were beaten 1-0 by ten-man Millwall of Sky Bet League One.

Shaun Cummings scored the Lions’ last-gasp goal and Coral reacted by making Claudio Ranieri 6-4 to be Leicester’s boss on the final day of the season. He is 1-2 to have departed before the campaign ends and Hills offer 1-2 Ranieri is the next top-flight manager to leave his current position.

Middlesbrough booked their spot in the quarter-finals with a 3-2 win over Oxford, while Chelsea are Paddy Power’s 3-1 FA Cup favourites following a 2-0 success at Wolves.
