Manchester City kept alive their hopes of the quadruple but they were given a major scare during their 3-2 FA Cup quarter-final win at Swansea, who had been 14-1 to qualify at the start of the tie.

The Sky Bet Championship hosts took a 2-0 lead and the Citizens, just 1-7 to win in 90 minutes at the start of the game, hit 6-1 in-play before Sergio Aguero’s header in the 88th minute completed their second-half comeback.

Watford became the first team to book their place in the FA Cup semi-finals with a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Burnley are as short as 9-4 for relegation from the Premier League after suffering a 2-1 defeat to ten-man Leicester City at Turf Moor.

The Foxes had drifted to 5-1 in-play for victory after Harry Maguire was shown a red card for bringing down Johann Berg Gudmundsson after just four minutes.

James Maddison opened the scoring for Leicester before Dwight McNeil pulled the hosts level but a 90th-minute winner from Wes Morgan cranked up the pressure on Sean Dyche's men, who play Chelsea, Manchester City, Everton and Arsenal in their final four games.

Cardiff, two points behind the Clarets with a game in hand, have drifted to 1-2 for the drop.

West Ham also scored a late winner, sinking basement side Huddersfield 4-3, having been 3-1 down.

The Hammers were as big as 40-1 in-play for victory but are 11-10 with Paddy Power for a top-half finish after two late strikes from Javier Hernandez denied the Terriers a fourth win of the season.

Matt Ritchie's stoppage-time goal earned Newcastle a point in a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth.
